Equipping for Marriage and Family Conference

On September 9, Marriage Network Oklahoma sponsored the Equipping for Marriage and Family Conference in alliance with the Association of Marriage and Family Ministries. The conference was for the purpose of training and encouraging pastors and church leaders in marriage and family ministry. Participants came from all over the state to attend. Speaking and teaching at the conference were Norm Wright (author of over 70 books and a Christian leader of marriage enrichment), Jeff and Judi Parziale of Instep Ministries, and Jennifer and Eric Garcia, president of the Association of Marriage and Family Ministries.

Living Well partnered with Oklahoma Family Policy Council, Christian Leadership Foundation of Oklahoma City, Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma, FamilyLife of Campus Crusade for Christ, Marriage Works!the center at SNU, KQCV, Putnam City Baptist Church, Quail Springs Church of Christ, Portland Ave Baptist Church, Asbury United Methodist Church of Tulsa, and Crossings Community Church. Donna and Ed Edwards were coordinators for the conference.
